KATE SPADE

The brand was established in 1986 out of the homonymous founder’s desire to create the perfect handbag: functional, fashionable and affordable. Having become famous for its bright colours in the 1990s resulting in true “Kate Spade mania”, in 2019 it signed a licence agreement with the Interparfums group for the production of fragrances of the same name. In the world of perfumery, Kate Spade distinguishes itself for its playful style and its addressing to a Gen Z clientele. The brand’s code are bright colours, the label on the outside of the product (rather than on the inside), and patterns of flower shapes and the spade symbol that, when turned upside-down, becomes a heart.
